In the Spotlight today is the 15th Annual Newport Beach Film Festival (NBFF), well-established and highly anticipated community celebration of all that great film can offer. With an international slate of more than 350 films (and featuring a broad array of juried, festival honors, and audience-selected awards), NBFF offers countless treats for the eyes and ears, as well as numerous ways to go home a winner.
Short films, student films, animated films, and feature-length narratives and documentaries all share center stage at this robust gala that includes nightly special events and red-carpet premieres, live music, seminars, Q&As, and cinematic retrospectives. This year's special programs will include compelling series on action sports film, environmental film, a collegiate showcase, and a comprehensive look at art, architecture, and design in cinema.
Recently named one of "25 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee" by MovieMaker Magazine, NBFF unfolds just one hour south of Hollywood in stunning Newport Beach and regularly draws some of the most respected names in the industry.
