Three senators have introduced a version of the Songwriter Equity Act that would task the Copyright Royalty Board with establishing fair market values for fees that digital music services pay to songwriters. The law would mean "new costs on broadcasters that jeopardize the future of our free locally-focused service," NAB spokesman Dennis Wharton said. "...
