In the Spotlight today is the 4th Annual LA Indie Film Festival, a treasure trove of some of the best independent voices in cinema today. LA Indie trains its focus on fantastic, creative stories that span a gamut of emotional responses. All screenings unfold at LA's Let Live Theater, which regularly plays host to some of the most innovative cinematic, theatrical, and musical performances in the city.

Last year's festival honored a wide spectrum of exciting stories, from the inspiring true story of a high school running coach who led his team to a championship victory while battling Lou Gehrig's disease (Running for Jim) to an animated short chronicling the world's greatest hairdresser (Estefan).
