
In the Spotlight today is the 7th Annual Indie Spirit Film Festival (ISFF), where filmmakers and film lovers gather together from all over the globe in a scenic, energetic setting to support the independent film community.
Located just one hour south of Denver along the Front Range of the southern Rocky Mountains at the base of the epic Pikes Peak, ISFF allows filmmakers, audiences, and film professionals an enthusiastic opportunity to establish and reaffirm a lifelong relationship with the spirit of independent filmmaking by supporting fellow filmmakers. ISFF offers screenings to more than 60 films as well as lively Q&A sessions, filmmaker panels, parties and receptions.
The festival showcases international feature films, shorts, documentaries, experimental, and animation projects covering a variety of subjects including Native American and Colorado films. ISFF boasts a wide selection of films and presents genre-specific awards such as Best Horror Film, Best Environmental Film, Best Native American Film, Best Sports Film, Best International Film, as well as Best Short, Feature, Documentary, Student Film, and Festival Director's Choice.
