KNOXVILLE
FILM FESTIVAL
Knoxville, Tennessee - USA
September 11 to 14, 2014
Upcoming Deadline: June 1, 2014
The 2nd Annual Knoxville Film Festival celebrates the art of independent cinema and the grit and vision of those who create it. Benefiting from a broad array of documentary and narrative features and shorts, KFF illustrates the full spectrum of creativity and welcomes invigorating discussion on art, craft, and everything in between. Last year, more than 2,000 visitors enjoyed more than 80 independent films, five mind-expanding panels, and the unforgettable "7-Day Shootout" that put raw talent to the test.
It's hard to believe so much excitement can occur in just one weekend, but KFF promises a party that doesn't let up. With strong support from Regal Entertainment Group (the world's largest theater chain, whose headquarters just happens to be in Knoxville) along with stellar local corporate sponsorship, KFF leaves its visitors awash in nearly everything they could desire.
Travelers who dare to step away from KFF's film and entertainment offerings will find plenty to see and do in Knoxville, a city ranked by Blender Magazine as one of the best music scenes in the United States. Steeped in American history and smothered in bluegrass charm, Knoxville is an ideal setting for a film festival that celebrates diversity, artistry, and frivolity. Make plans to join in on the fun this September!
