The 1st Annual Capital City Black Film Festival (CCBFF) provides burgeoning black filmmakers from across the United States with an exceptional platform on which to showcase their works in an unforgettable city. The 13th Annual New Hampshire Film Festival (NHFF) proudly presents the very best of independent film at four state-of-the-art screening venues in the gorgeous seacoast city of Portsmouth. Teeming with New England charm and camaraderie, NHFF quickly generates a small, close-knit community that makes networking a breeze. The prestige of the festival's extraordinary programming -- which includes features, documentaries, shorts, and home-grown New Hampshire indies -- lends significant clout to any filmmaker's resume and ensures a spectacular audience experience.
Five NHFF parties unfold throughout the four-day celebration, and every participating filmmaker is assured press attention. The result is a festival experience that can really turn heads towards incredible talents worthy of exposure and opportunity. Each award winner receives a distinctive, ten-pound, granite trophy (affectionately called "The Granny"), and the festival's screenplay winner will receive a two-week screenwriter's residency on Star Island, including accommodations, ferry transportation, and two lobster dinners for two. The 2nd Annual San Pedro International Film Festival (SPIFF) gathers remarkable films and filmmakers to enjoy gorgeous seaport surroundings in the heart of the entertainment industry. Last year, more than 50 features, documentaries, shorts, and student films were screened at SPIFF, including Academy Award nominated Silver Linings Playbook, which enjoyed its Los Angeles premiere at the festival and took home SPIFF's Best Feature Film Prize. Guests also enjoyed IndieCon, one of Hollywood's top-rated filmmaking workshop series, which last year included acclaimed screenwriter Larry Karaszewski (The People vs. Larry Flynt).

The 1st Annual Christian Life International Film Festival (CLIFF) champions unforgettable films that prompt a deeply emotional response from their audiences. Although CLIFF is a Christian-themed festival that promotes and exalts Christian values, submitted projects are not required to reference Christianity -- they just need to be great stories that engage hearts and minds. Cash prizes will be presented to the festival's Best Short, Best Animated Film, Best Documentary, Best Music Video, and Most Popular Film. At its core, CLIFF aims to both "touch and teach" its audiences with clean, thoughtful, well-crafted productions.
CLIFF will screen Christian-oriented films with deep meanings, powerful messages, and run times between 5 and 30 minutes. Submitted projects should be "G" or "PG" rated, and selected films will be screened at a collection of Thamesville churches that will also be offering worship services on the Sunday morning of the festival.
